Our bodies are always sending us signals about our health; all we have to do is pay attention to the signals and fix anything that doesn’t seem right. To be deemed as healthy, here are some basic indications of good health:
Your bowel movement is normal
If your bowel movements are swift, easy, and normal-looking, and you go to the bathroom without exerting any effort, this is an indication of a healthy digestive system.
Healthy bowel movements are those that allow you to empty your colon frequently enough that you don’t feel bloated or in discomfort, and you don’t have to strain to do so.
You can climb two flights of stairs
Another benchmark that doctors use to determine physical fitness is if you have plenty of energy throughout the day.
If you can go fairly quickly up two flights of stairs without stopping, that’s a moderate level of exertion.
Although not perfect, the ability to effortlessly climb two flights of stairs indicates that your body is capable of high-intensity activity, which is one marker of fitness.
You receive restful sleep
Quality of sleep is the most convenient and accurate way to gauge health. If you get 7 to 8 hours of sleep each night and wake up feeling completely rejuvenated the next morning, that’s a pretty good gauge that you’re healthy.

You have a healthy skin

Frequent acne breakouts, allergies, a pale complexion, or other skin concerns are an indicator that you may not be as healthy as you think you are.
If you have good, clear urine
When it comes to their health, most people overlook one of the most important indicators: pee.
The colour of your urine, like the colour of your skin, is a great barometer of your health, particularly the normal functioning of your kidneys.
If your urine is clear and a pale shade of yellow colour, then your body is in good health.
Anything darker is an indicator that you aren’t drinking enough water.
Odourless and plentiful urine is often a sign that you are completely hydrated.
You have consistent periods
In order to look at the big picture of a woman’s health, nothing is more crucial than establishing a regular menstrual cycle.
If you’re getting regular periods 21 to 35 days after your last cycle, it suggests that your hormones are active and balanced.
Some things about your period — like irregular or painful periods — offer clues to problems in your body.
Your periods shouldn’t be so painful that you can’t work or do any normal physical activity.
You have an active way of life
This simple behaviour is a hallmark of good health. Whatever your age, if you live an active lifestyle, you’re able to move spontaneously in any form of physical activity and take care of yourself by exercising on a regular basis, the chances are that the rest of your body is in healthy working order.
You have a good waist circumference
Finally, the circumference of your waist is a good measure of your general health.
Consider yourself healthy even if you weigh more than others but have a trim waistline.
According to recent studies, accumulating fat in the abdomen is a precursor to health problems such as cancer, heart disease, infertility, diabetes, and more.
Research suggests that being pear-shaped is preferable to being apple-shaped.
Our body is a sophisticated and intelligent system with its own ways of communicating with us.
When it comes to assessing your overall health, most of our problems can be solved just by listening to it.
